WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOMINO PLASMOID AND SKIPPER PLASMOID?

Domino Plasmoid and Skipper Plasmoid are two high-end stair climbers that use the same components and the same technology. The main difference lies in the type of loads for which they have been designed; in the sense that Domino Plasmoid is suitable for all loads with a height of up to 2 meters while Skipper Plasmoid is suitable for loads that sometimes exceed 2 meters such as frames, armored doors and windows. Furthermore, Domino Plasmoid is equipped with the load calibration function which, according to the loaded weight, autonomously chooses a suggested angle of the loading surface to facilitate the operator during transport. Skipper Plasmoid, on the other hand, is equipped with the "automatic" load inclination function; that is, it automatically holds the angle chosen by the operator and adapts to different types of slope.

CAN I LOAD AND UNLOAD THE GOODS FROM THE VAN DIRECTLY WITH YOUR TROLLEYS?

Of course, all our electric stair climbing trolleys have the possibility of loading and unloading comfortably from any vehicle. Depending on the circumstances, it may be necessary to use a special aluminum ramp or not.

DO CRAWLER TRACKS RUIN STAIRS?

Absolutely not! All of our tracks are non-marking and non-staining. They do not damage the stairs and do not damage the steps. The tracks that are mounted on our trolleys are exclusive and branded ZONZINI, which is synonymous with quality.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STAIR CLIMBERS WITH CRAWLER TRACKS OR WITH WHEELS?

The difference is remarkable because they are two completely different operating principles. Systems with wheels, so-called "step by step", require the operator to maintain load balancing at each step; this necessarily implies that the operator must bear part of the weight itself. On the contrary, stair climbers with tracks such as Domino and Skipper allow the operator to no longer feel the weight of the load during transport on stairs.

DO I NEED TO KEEP THE LOAD BALANCED?

Managing the load balancing at each step is typical of wheeled stair climbing trolleys. it is an operation that can hide many pitfalls and dangers. Zonzini has always endeavoured to try to reduce residual risks during transport on stairs and for this reason the whole range of Zonzini products is equipped with special rubber tracks. Taking the stairs with the tracks means no longer having to keep the load balanced, so the comfort for the operator is much higher.

CAN I TURN AROUND ON VERY NARROW LANDINGS?

The stair climber mod. Thanks to the two independent tracks, Domino Plasmoid allows the 360 ° rotation of the load, thus making it possible to manoeuvre in very narrow spaces. Even with the Skipper Plasmoid model it is possible to rotate on very narrow landings, there are in fact two different rotation modes while for the Buddy Lift Plasmoid model, thanks to the integrated lifting of the load it is possible to rotate on even narrower landings.

CAN I USE THEM ON ANY KIND OF STAIRS?

With all of our stair climbers you can travel on stairs of any type and shape compatibly with the dimensions of the transported load. Both Domino Plasmoid and Skipper Plasmoid are equipped with non-marking and anti-slip tracks; you can go along stairs in marble, wood, glass, parquet etc. The mod. Buddy Lift Plasmoid is equipped with an electric liftable base that allows you to lift the load to recover even more space on the ladder and turn in very narrow landings.

CAN I ALSO TRANSPORT GOODS ON A PALLET?

With all our stair climbing trolleys it is also possible to transport goods positioned on pallets. Among other things, we carry out customised bases to meet the needs of each one.

HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST?

The autonomy depends on the weight carried. Our trolleys are equipped with special batteries without memory effect. In addition to not having any liquid leakage, the batteries can be recharged safely even without completely depleting their charge. In addition, the supplied battery charger is completely automatic, meaning it detaches by itself as soon as it reads the battery charge, so there is absolutely no danger of overcharging the batteries themselves. The charge of the batteries is indicated by a luminous LED on the control unit.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOMINO AUTOMATIC AND DOMINO PLASMOID?

Domino plasmoid is the evolution of Domino Automatic, it is equipped with a very high level technology created and developed by Zonzini that allows to exploit all the potential provided by the product and to make it even more immediate and simple to use. Domino Plasmoid is equipped with the sophisticated load "calibration" feature, thanks to which it is able to identify the most appropriate angle on all types of stairs, thus facilitating transport for the operator.
